Dinli ATV Transmission Blueprinting

Tommy was the Technician and Parts Manager for Dinli USA , Dallas TX, the United States distributor for Dinli ATV’s. In addition to overseeing a parts department stocking over $800,000 worth of parts and annual parts sales topping $650,000, Tommy also dug into the forward/reverse transmission issue that had caused more than a few "failures in the field."  

To date, hundreds of these transmissions have been "blueprinted" with a 100%  success rate!  Dealers and owners alike send their transmission "guts" to TA Porting where Tommy installs them into special trans cases that look like "swiss cheese" so that the alignment & depth of engagement can be checked.    Once the lack of engagement of the "mostly forward" gears is measured, the trans shafts are put in a fixture in a lathe and custom ground to achieve maximum engagement of forward and reverse gears.  Each shaft assembly is wrapped as it is removed and labeled “12, 6, and 9 o’clock” for easy reinstallation by the owner.    Tommy will be on the phone with you, providing technical assistance as you put it back together, making sure it all goes well.
